A Peek Into Today’s Calligraphy Artwork :)

Hello, readers! Today, this post is a peek into my newest hobby- calligraphy.

I find that the best paper to use for calligraphy is card stock. It’s thicker than regular printer-paper, and much nicer. For dark paper, it’s best to use markers or pens that will be seen. Like these two metallic pens I have here. And another tip is to write your quote, or whatever, in pencil. It will help keep you in the direction you desire to go. Also, if you’re drawing lines, either use a ruler or something straight, like a piece of thick scrap paper. Sorry for the poor picture quality. My artsy counter is in a not-so-lit area.

So I already wrote my quote in pencil, and now I’m going over it in my gold pen/marker.

To get that fabulous, creative effect, I go over the letters another time in certain spots. Never cross thick lines with thick. Only thick with thin.

Finished “This.” Onto the next word.

After I finished filling in the words with more ink, I went back again with a different pen to add to the effect.

And it’s finished! I like to draw little, decorative things so it’s not too boring.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post! Would you like to see more of this in the future! Your thoughts are appreciated 🙂

Have a joyful week! God bless!
