Ashley Blake #7

Ashley retrieved her notebook from the shelf in her room and opened up to the first page. She had written a few paragraphs of important information about her career path, and where to start. She knew college would be a good choice, and was praying often about it. Ashley had been praying about college for a while, and God made it clear to her. She began researching colleges with a peace in her rested mind. After discussing this topic with Ashley’s parents, she took the advice that was given and searched for colleges in Texas, where she lived. In her notebook was a list of possible college choices.

She studied the information in her notebook and then put it back in its place on the shelf. Feeling a bit tired, she changed into a nightgown and exited the bedroom. It was 8:30 on a Friday night. She popped a bag of popcorn in the microwave and entered her aqua-colored, music-themed room again. This room was such an enjoyable place to be in, and she spent most of her time there. Writing music, homeschooling, and spending time with God were just a few of the things she liked do in her bedroom. There was a beautiful queen-sized bed in the middle of the room with a flowing, white canopy over it. The canopy had pretty Christmas lights in it that gave off a warm glow at night. She turned them on every night in bed. Ashley opened her laptop up to Netflix. A few episodes of When Calls The Heart would be nice. She kicked back on her bed with the laptop and the bag of popcorn. After “a few” episodes of her show, she said good night to her parents and went to her Weirdo Wonderland of Dreams. Sleep came fast for Ashley.
