The Guitar and I Are Probably Friends :D

Hello, dear readers! How are you on this bright Saturday?

I’ve learned three more songs on the guitar! YIPPEE! I learned You Never Let Go by Matt Redman, Forever by Kari Jobe and my ALL TIME favorite 80’s song called Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) by Journey. Haha, yes, I LOVE 80’s songs. By now, the guitar and I are probably friends! I love it so much, I am going to buy my own. I am borrowing my cousin Lizzie’s. So the one I REALLY want is a Fender that is called a Sunburst. It’s really pretty! It’s black and brown; an ombre. I am saving up πŸ™‚ So far I know four songs including the first one I ever started playing; Tonight by Francesca Battistelli. Lizzie taught me the chords G, D, E and C. If you are thinking of playing guitar start now because it’s so much fun!

Oh, by the way, I renamed my doll Ashley. Well, her middle names. It’s Ashley Jennifer instead of Ashley Adele Brooke Jadis. That was too many middle names! Lol!

Have a joyful rest-of-your-day!

  1. Oh my gosh you are my new favorite person ahahhaa.
I LOVE the 80s and I LOVE that song. It’s very dramatic heehee, and I can play “Never Let Go’ also! You should learn “Oceans” by Hillsong although that is a lot of barre chords (really just Bm and A/C#m) but definitely a beauty to play. I’ve been playing for about 3 years almost–ooh Fender Sunburst– that’s electric guitar, right? Personally I suggest learning on acoustic guitar first, and once you’ve mastered a lot of chords on acoustic then switch to electric because it’s so much easier (the neck is a lot smaller so it’s an easier switch, ya know?)
Anyway, I’d love to talk more about guitar whenever you want. Guitar is the best (in fact my poem today was about guitar) πŸ˜›
